SLP Responsibilities:

  • Evaluation and report writing
  • Program planning for student therapy
  • Third party billing (as appropriate/applicable)
  • Minimum of 20% supervision of all Assistant activities, including direct therapy, review of treatment notes, material development, etc.
  • Continued guidance and instruction of Assistant based on student needs (on-site and through the use of Skype, email, phone calls, and notes)
  • Writing IEPs
  • IEP meetings (both on-site and via conversations with families over the phone)
  • Front-loading instruction with Assistant to get the year off to a strong start
